Pick a piece in the 12x12 show at the Yamawaki Gallery and write a one paragraph formal analysis of the piece. Using the elements & principles of design describe why you find the piece successful. Be sure to address the following: composition, focal point, movement of the piece.

Due 2/6

1. Finish Visual Vocabulary and bring to class for Critique, NEAT & Professional
2. Study for Quiz on Elements and Principles
3. Find random marketing materials and bring to class (Pamphlets, flyers, school newspaper)
4. Bring both Sketchbooks, ruler, pencil, eraser, scissors, knife, glue

3. Buy supply kit at bookstore.
4. For next week bring: sketchbook, black sharpie, portfolio, scissors, glue, pencils, erasers, black paper
